About Me

I’m an heritage and public relations consultant with a passion for music, and I’m proud to call beautiful Queensland home.

As a dual-qualified and accredited public relations and heritage consultant, I’m fortunate to work in an exciting field where each day is different. Whether it’s helping a business launch its online profile or working with a family to find their family history, each day brings something new and exciting. Public relations and digital media are constantly changing, which means I regularly undertake training to ensure I’m up-to-date with best industry practice. I also undertake regular professional development to consider new developments in the analysis and display of history, including the use of appropriate digital tools to display your heritage project in the best way possible. I live in the beautiful Sunshine State with its rich heritage and amazing people, which provides a wonderful base from which to work.

I have a life-long love of music, and have enjoyed sharing beautiful music with students and training the next generation of pianists for more than twelve years.

As a qualified musician, I spend some of my non-working hours at the piano either in my home, in my local community or teaching piano. I have managed my own private pianoforte tuition business for more than twelve years, and was fortunate to train under some wonderful musicians. I specialise in piano and music history (musicology), although I also play violin and harpsichord. After being the recipient of wonderful teaching and mentoring during my training, it has been a wonderful journey sharing the joy of music with my piano students for more than twelve years. I now maintain a small piano studio, with students generally accepted via invitation and referral.

I’m partial to a good book, beautiful bay views and can’t resist the gorgeous wildlife in Redlands Coast, where I work with numerous community groups.

Redlands Coast is home to some absolutely amazing wildlife, which makes work just fly by! When I’m not working or at the piano, you might find me enjoying a good book or gazing at the bay views for which Queensland is renowned. It’s wonderful working with clients ranging from families with questions about family history, to community groups that require heritage displays and businesses seeking assistance with their digital media strategies, websites and public relations. So if you need help getting your business out there, or you just don’t know where to start with researching history, just get in touch with me to have a chat about how I can help you.
